the slender baluster body rising from a spreading foot to a waisted neck and flared rim, covered in a deep copper-red glaze draining to white at the rim, suffused with a network of fine crackle throughout, the interior and underside of the base covered with a crackled ivory-coloured glaze

Condition

There are glaze pools along the rim and the foot of the vase, the largest measuring approximately 3.3cm long. The foot has an area of firing flaw/minor hairlines, possibly as a result of impact force. The glaze of a brighter tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
