naturalistically modelled as an arched gnarled pine bough, pierced with irregular sized knots and short twisting braches with clusters of pine needles, covered overall in a pale bluish-green glaze save for the unglazed base with impressed four-character hall mark reading Caixiu Tang zhi
Condition
The middle section of the brush rest has a network of stained hairline cracks. There are minor glaze firing imperfections and surface wear.
