the spherical body rising from a splayed foot and carved and pierced with a central band of lotus and the bajixiang, below a thin beaded band, the everted rim similarly carved with lotus, the domed cover with an elaborate chrysanthemum flower finial above a similar bajixiang and lotus band

Condition

The bowl is in good condition with the exception of a circa 1cm., area of polish to the rim and the cover has repair to a 5x3cm., crescent-shaped section break at the rim. The stone has several natural fissures.
