the curved shaft terminating in a dragon head, carved in high relief with a clambering chilong with bifurcated tail, the underside with a circular knop for attachment, the stone of an opaque white tone with black inclusions

Condition

The belthook is in overall good condition. There is a small chip to the back of the left ear, and some areas on the base edges have been polished. There is a natural fissure approx. 5.5cm long on the lower right side extending to the tail of the chilong. There are the expected minor nicks to the edges.
