Catalogue Note

Dr Tregear was Assistant Keeper of the Chinese Collection, and then Keeper of the Department of Eastern Art, Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1961 and 1991. She was a fellow of St. Cross College, Oxford University, a fellow of the British Academy and President of the Oriental Ceramic Society.
