the globular body rising from a recessed base to a short neck, painted around the exterior in rich cobalt-blue tones with two scaly five-clawed dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl, all amidst ruyi-clouds and fire scrolls and between a ruyi band at the base and a lappet collar at the shoulder, the neck with a key-fret band, the base with six-character mark in underglaze-blue

Formerly in a European Private Collection.
Condition
This jar is in good condition, but does have some burst bubbles and iron spots to the glaze at the rim and some light scratches to the glaze at the sides.
