the gently sloping sides rising from a short straight foot to a flared rim, moulded to the interior with two phoenix in flight amongst lotus, below a thin band of keyfret

Condition

There is a chip from the foot approx. 1.6 cm. long which has adhered to the body in the firing process with an associated hairline crack in the glaze visible on the exterior approx. 3 cm. long. There is also a star crack above the foot and two other shorter cracks approx. 1.2 cm. and 0.5 cm. long, also visible on the exterior only. The interior with a 2.6 cm. long glaze crack in the 2o'clock position.
