the beast standing four square with head turned sharply to the right, wearing a ruyi-cloud saddle-cloth surmounted by the seated rider, to the rear legs kneels a young boy holding a vase of flowers, the stone of pale celadon tone, wood stand
Condition
The carving in good condition with the exception of minor nicks along the extremities. There are some natural veins and cloudy-white inclusions/flaws running through the stone. The stone is of a more celadon tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
