the ovoid body rising from a spreading foot to a waisted neck flaring at the rim, brightly painted with stylised lotus sprays suspending beribboned qing and knots, all between ruyi and lappet bands, the foot encircled by a keyfret band, inscribed to the base in iron-red with a six-character seal mark

Condition

The neck of the vase broken into several sections and restored, with extensive over-painting and smaller areas of infill. The base originally drilled, with the 1.5mm section now infilled with the mark partially re-painted. Elsewhere, minor surface wear.
