the hook decorated with a finely rendered dragon’s head, depicted facing a dragon in high relief clambering up the arched shaft with its sinuous body, the underside set with a round knob, the stone of translucent pale greenish-white colour with areas of white mottling

Condition
The belthook is in overall good condition except for a few nibbles along the edges. The actual colour of the stone is a tinge whiter than the catalogue illustration.
