worked in the round as an eagle perched atop a crouching bear, the bird with wings stretched and feathers finely picked out, the bear detailed with stylised tufts of fur, both with their heads turned to face each other, the white stone with faint russet inclusions

Christie’s South Kensington, 18th May 2012, lot 1168 (part lot).
Condition
The group is in overall good condition with only expected minute nicks to the extremities, including the tip of the bird's tail. There are also natural flaws to the stone skilfully picked out with the bird's upper body.
