the translucent white glass of elongated ovoid form, the body finely painted in the famille-rose palette with a continuous scene of life on a riverboat among lush surroundings, with a lady and children playing on the boat and a lone fisherman by floating reeds, all below a border of cloud scrolls and banana leaf lappets rising to an everted rim, the base with a four-character Qianlong seal mark in red enamel

The vase is in overall good condition, apart from a tiny flake to the outer mouthrim and occasional original bubbles to the glass. There are also some typical wear and scratches to the enamels.
