each finely potted with steep gently curved sides resting on a short tapering foot, applied with a bright translucent glaze fitted with a gold ring encircling the foot and rim, inscribed on the base with a six-character mark within a double-circle in underglaze blue

The overall condition of the pair is excellent except for some occasional pinholes.
