Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The color of the vase is a little more subtle when viewed in person than it appears in the catalogue illustration. The lot has been examined under black light and shows no evidence of prior restoration. The glazed surface with some minor irregularities and minute burst air bubbles inherent to the making. With a few light surface scratches and minor surface dirt to the recessed areas, consistent with age and gentle handling. A wonderful vase where the naturalist and delicate design emphasizes the shape of the pottery.
