Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The present lot has been gently used and carefully maintained and the current condition reflects that care. The top surface of the sideboard with minor surface scratches consistent with use. These scratches could be minimized should one desire with a gentle waxing of the surface. With a single drawer to the underside of the desk. The L-shaped desk is fitted and held in place with hardware and therefore the placement and angle cannot be varied. The case portion of the desk fitted with open shelves and four drawers. The interior of the drawers with minor surface dirt from use. The desk with a nice size and shape for use. The top of the Frenchman's cove portion of the desk with wonderful figuring and nice freeform edge. The back of the case element not finished and appears to have been designed for use against the wall. A wonderful pairing of a freeform Nakashima design and with a functional sideboard.
