Overall in very good condition. The wood surfaces with minor edge nicks, abrasions, scratches and rubbing to the finish, consistent with age and gentle use. Two areas of shallow scratches to the front edges adjacent to the seat. With a few minor isolated areas of discoloration, consistent with age. Very minor separation of the joints along the edges. A minor hairline crack to the proper left front edge of the chair, along approximately 2 ¾ inches. The leather is in good condition, with minor traces of wear, a few light surface scratches and light surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use. A minor nick to the leather at the edge of the back, to the left and to the corner, consistent with qge and gentle use. The proper right upper back of the leather with minor traces of sensitively undertaken restoration. The metal hardware with minor surface scratches and traces of oxidation consistent with age and gentle use. The back leather seat attachment to the frame have been replaced. A wonderful example of this iconic chair design.
