the bodhisattva seated atop an elephant, with plaited hair in high jatamukata with golden finial, wearing the bodhisattva jewelry and a diaphanous dhoti with chest sash, holding a vajra in the raised right hand and the left hand in tarjani mudra, with sealed baseplate incised with vishvavajra

Condition

Central figure with vehicle separately cast from base. With wear and accretion overall. Traces of polychroming at hair, face and elephant's trunk. Baseplate sealed with a vishvavajra.
