seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, the right hand held aloft, the left hand holding the stalk of a lotus flower supporting a book, wearing a dhoti and long fluttering scarf, the face with a serene expression beneath the elaborately dressed chignon

Condition

The attribute held in the right hand is lost. There is wear to the gilding, most noticeable in the face, back and arms. There are cracks to the right thumb and left middle finger. The inlay is lost. There are minor scattered nicks and other general signs of wear.
