Provenance
Collection of James Marshall Plumer (1899-1960).
Condition
The first figure has loss to the gilding. There are two cracks to the section of the trailing scarf on the figure's left and surface wear and encrustation consistent with age for pieces of this type. The second piece has wear and light encrustation consistent with age and use for pieces of this type. The surface of the third piece appears to have been cleaned, has wear to the features, and appears to be in overall good condition. The fourth piece has some light encrustation and wear to the features, and appears to be in good overall condition. The fifth figure has wear to the gilding and features and the pin on the base is lost. The sixth figure has surface encrustation and chips to the extremities. The last piece has some wear to the gilding , light wear to the features and chips to the base. The catalogue image is more red than the actual pieces.
