The print is in generally very good condition. There is a crease with some associated chipping in the lower right of the image extending into the lower right margin of the image. There are minor handling creases throughout the print visible in raking light only. There is a small area of soiling in the upper left margin. The corners of the print have been bumped. A studio label, printed with the sitter's name, is affixed to the reverse of the print. The credit stamp on the reverse reads ‘PHOTOGRAPH BY FRANCESCO SCAVULLO’.
