The print is in generally very good condition. There is a soft crease in the lower right corner of the image extending from the right margin to the lower margin of the print. There are some pressure marks in the left side of the image visible in raking light only. There are a few minor handling creases through the print. A studio label, printed with the sitter's name, is affixed to the reverse.The stamp reads 'PHOTOGRAPH BY FRANCESCO SCAVULLO' on the reverse of the print.
