Comprising: four cigarette cases, two of basket weave design; two of reeded design, the thumbpieces set with a cabochon sapphire; and a polished oval spectacle case, gross weight approximately 597 grams.

Condition

The smaller sapphire cigarette case stamped 14K for 14 carat gold, Austro-Hungarian assay mark. Clasp secure, scratches to metal consistent with use, in good condition. Larger sapphire cigarette case inscribed 'Ange Hartel', indistinct assay marks. Clasp secure, scratches to metal consistent with use, in good condition. Sapphires with good saturation. Woven mesh cigarette case stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, Italian maker's marks for Alessandria. Spurious Cartier signature. Clasp secure, scratches to metal consistent with use, in good condition. Two tone woven mesh cigarette case stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Maker's marks GJ&W. Slightly dented. Clasp secure, scratches to metal consistent with use, in good condition. Spectacle case stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. Maker's mark A.M. Containing a pair of bi-focal spectacles. Scratches to metal consistent with use, in good condition.
