Pair of gem set and diamond sautoirs

Comprising: a sautoir, set with cabochon and circular-cut rubies and emeralds, suspending a similarly set pendant framing a marquise-shaped diamond, length approximately 690mm; and a sautoir designed as a series of enamel plaques, accented with cabochon turquoise, alternating with seed pearls, suspending a pendant set with single-cut diamonds and an oval cabochon turquoise, length approximately 810mm.

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Ruby, emerald and diamond sautoir: Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.00 - 2.00 carats, estimated colour K-L, estimated clarity SI-I. Emeralds medium green, typical inclusions visible to naked eye. Rubies dark red, largely opaque, with typical inclusions visible to naked eye. Scratches and tarnish to metal consistent with wear. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.50 - 1.00, stones bright and lively. In good condition. Seed pearl, enamel, turquoise and diamond sautoir: Seed pearls misshapen, medium lustre. Turquoise slightly discoloured, one small cabochon turquoise deficient. Some losses to enamel in places. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to metal consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
