Set to the centre with an oval hardstone cameo depicting the profile of a Classical youth, within an open work enamel frame accented with table-cut diamonds and foiled paste to the cardinal points, suspending two seed pearl and one emerald detachable drop, to a textured scroll link chain, length approximately 465mm, signed Wièse, French assay and maker's marks, detachable suspension loop, fitted case stamped Wièse.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Signed Wièse. Enamel in good condition, some very slight signs of wear. Emeralds and rubies both with good saturation, typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification. Diamonds bright and lively. Cameo in good condition. Surmount and pendant loop detachable. Some slight scratches and tarnish to metal reverse consistent with age and wear. In very good condition. Fitted case stamped Wièse.
