Comprising: a pair of gold and emerald earrings, first half of the 19th century, of pendeloque design set with foil backed table-cut emeralds, length approximately 100mm, detachable into three sections, and a pair of quartz and diamond earrings of foliate scroll design set with lasqué-cut diamonds and pear-shaped and circular-cut foil backed quartz, second half of the 19th century.
Condition
Foil back emeralds medium to dark green, most with typical inclusions visible under magnification and to naked eye, a number with chips to facet edges. Foil backed quartz with slight discolouration to edges, some abrasions to facet edges on some stones. Scratches and tarnish to metal consistent with age and wear. Overall in good condition.
