Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Accompanied by CISGEM report no. 546, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indication of heating. Ruby measuring approximately 8.5 x 7.5 x 5.3, weighing 3.20 carats, medium purplish red with some minor abrasions to facet edges commensurate with age and wear. Diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 carats each, estimated colours and clarities approximately K-L, SI/I included on average. Mount with minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear, overall good condition.
