Of floral design, set with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing 1.84 carats and circular-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds of yellow and near colourless tint, size L, inscribed Mtd Cartier, French import marks.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. French import marks for platinum. Inscribed Mtd Cartier. Ruby medium - light purplish red, with typical inclusions visible under magnification. Estimated total weight of diamonds of yellow and brown tint approximately 0.40 - 0.70 carats, estimated clarity VS. Estimated total weight of remaining diamonds approximately 1.50 - 2.50 carats, estimated colour I-K, estimated clarity VS-SI. Some scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
