Comprising: a brooch, designed as a spray of polished lapis lazuli, decorated with moon and stars motifs, set with brilliant-cut diamonds; and a brooch, of similar design, set with mother of pearl and cabochon emeralds and rubies, each signed Mellerio, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.
French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Each signed Mellerio, numbered 5698BRO and 5121BRO. Maker's marks. Rubies purplish red with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye. Emeralds of medium green colour, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye. Lapis lazuli displaying typical inclusions. Total diamond weight approximately 2.00-3.00 carats, diamonds bright and lively. Secure clasps. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
