The demi-parure comprising: a brooch and pair of ear clips, each of wheat sheaf design, set with circular-cut rubies and sapphires and single-cut diamonds, brooch signed Gübelin, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, ear clips unsigned; and a brooch of basket design, set with polished rubies, sapphires and turquoise and single-cut diamonds, French assay marks.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Demi-Parure: Brooch stamped with French assay marks and 750 for 18 carat gold. Signed Gübelin. Numbered 373430. Earrings stamped with French assay marks for gold. Sapphires and rubies with typical inclusions visible under magnification. Brooch clasp secure. Earrings with strong clip fittings. Brooch: Stamped with French assay marks for gold and platinum. Sapphires and rubies of varying saturations, typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification. Turquoise slightly discoloured. Diamonds bright and lively. Clasp fitting secure. Each in very good condition.
