Description

  • Gold, turquoise and pearl
Comprising: a necklace designed as an articulated serpent set with cabochon turquoise, the head decorated with rose diamonds and garnet eyes, length approximately 400mm, inscribed J.R.C & M.A.C 1856-1906; and a hinged bangle set with graduated lines of turquoise and seed pearls, suspending a heart-shaped turquoise locket, inner circumference approximately 175mm.

Condition

Necklace: Mounted in silver and gold. Inscribed J.R.C & M.A.C 1856-1906. Turquoise of mixed colours varying from bright blue to dark green. Diamonds bright and lively. Well articulated. Secure clasp. In good condition. Bracelet: Mounted in gold and silver. Round baroque pearls of cream colour with grey overtones, medium lustre, some pitting and banding. Secure clasp. Scratches to metal consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
