Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to the Gübelin reports, all the rubies are natural, of Burmese origin. Rubies on the earclips have no indications of heating; while majority of the rubies on necklace also do not have indications of heating and some of the rubies have indications of clarity enhancement. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, the rubies are matching, of strong purplish red colour, eye clean and lively. Upon 10x loupe, all rubies have natural inclusions, and a few stones have surface reaching openings or fissure lines, generally not seen to naked eyes. Round diamonds are about G to H colours, mostly VS clarity; while the marquise diamonds on earclips are of similar colour, VS to SI clarity. One small marquise diamond has chip on its girdle under loupe check, not seen to naked eyes. Condition: Karat white gold mounts, all in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment. Please check with the specialist department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to these import restrictions, or any other restrictions on importation or exportation.
