Description
- Alexandrite, Diamond, Platinum
Centring on a cushion-shaped alexandrite weighing 3.06 carats, framed by circular-cut diamonds, to shoulders set with baguette and circular-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 1.70 carats, mounted in platinum. Ring size: 6
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to the Gübelin report, the alexandrite is natural, of Brazilian origin, with no indications of treatment, with strong colour-change. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the alexandrite displays a pronounced colour-change from medium deep purple red colour in incandescent light, to bluish green colour under daylight; very clean to naked eyes. Under 10x loupe, there is only a minor feather on pavilion, not seen to naked eyes. Diamonds are about F to G colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Platinum ring mount, with signs of normal wear to shank, overall in very good condition.

Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
NOTWITHSTANDING THIS REPORT OR ANY DISCUSSIONS CONCERNING CONDITION OF A LOT, ALL LOTS ARE OFFERED AND SOLD "AS IS" IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONDITIONS OF SALE PRINTED IN THE CATALOGUE.
