The square dial with Arabic numerals within a boat-shaped case of latticework design, set with calibré-cut sapphires, single- and circular-cut diamonds, to lapis lazuli bead and seed pearl bracelet, the diamonds together weighing approximately 2.15 carats, mounted in platinum, manual winding, length approximately 165mm, caseback numbered 7245.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the sapphires are of strong blue colour, eye clean with a few minor nicks and crystals under loupe check. Seeds pearls are off-round to naked eyes, white colour with fine lustre. Lapis lazuli beads are intense to deep violetish blue colour, with surface reaching inclusions under 10x loupe. The diamonds are about G to I colours, VS to SI clarity. Mechanical movement, in running condition at the time of cataloguing, but please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches.
Condition: Vintage wristwatch, with signs of wear, overall in good condition.
