Description

  • enamel on bronze
of lobed form, finely enamelled with an elaborately-dressed European lady and a boy playing with a small dog, all reserved on a translucent blue enamel ground and framed by a gilt-bronze border, the reverse with fastenings for attachment

Condition

There is general crazing and short scratches to the enamels, particularly around the edges. The gilt-bronze with minor dents and rubbing to the gilding.
