of shallow ogee form, the central panel of the interior painted with a phoenix, dragon and two tigers set within a lozenge-shaped panel, flanked by horses and surmounted by a lion on a yellow floral ground, with panels of birds on branches flanked by dragons on a turquoise ground below the rim

Condition

There is a 1x0.4cm rim chip to four o'clock position. There are minor enamel flakes/losses, such as the pink enamels on the flower to the exterior. The gilding is rubbed around the rim and elsewhere. The turquoise enamel show signs of bubbling. There are other minor glaze firing imperfections and surface wear throughout.
