Description

the rounded sides resting on a gently tapered foot, painted to the interior with a dragon writhing amongst stylised ruyi clouds and flame wisps, the exterior similarly decorated with two pacing dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls, inscribed with an apocryphal Chenghua mark to the base

Condition

The dish has four rim cracks, two of which around 9o'clock position, measuring 1.2cm long, slightly stained and visible to the naked eye. The other two around the 10o'clock position, measuring approx. 1.6-1.8cm long and only visible under UV light. Minor glaze firing imperfections and enamel wear.
