the exterior painted with six floral clusters framed by strapwork, all below a ruyi band, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark

Provenance

Acquired in the 19th century and thence by descent.

Condition

There is a circa 5.8cm stained rim crack, and five rim frits/chips (largest 0.5x0.2cm). Other minor glaze firing imperfections include burst glaze bubbles, and iron spots.
