Provenance

Collection of Dr J. Vixseboxse (1916-1986), Dutch sinologist and diplomat. 
Acquired in China in the 1940s-70s, and thence by descent.

Condition

This painting has been re-mounted and has numerous areas of losses to the silk to the lower right section. There is horizontal creasing to the upper, central and lower areas and has split the surface in some cases.
