modelled seated on a pierced rock base beside a pear-shaped vase, the arms supported on the raised right knee, wearing long robes falling into voluminous folds and opening at the chest to reveal a beaded lotus necklace, the face with a benevolent expression, the hair piled up into an elaborate chignon, the reverse impressed with a He Chaozong seal
Condition
The right hand of the figure and the vase has been restored. There are a number of firing cracks running through the base, its interior and more minor ones to the lower section of the back of the base. There are some iron spots and burst bubbles to the glaze throughout.
