the tapering broad shouldered body rising from a recessed base to a narrow short neck with everted rim, freely painted around the exterior with winged dragons, horses and rocks and ruyi and wave bands, the tapering cover painted with ruyi and surmounted by a lotus bud finial

Condition

This meiping is in good condition, but has some kiln adhesions to the foot, one to the shoulder and a smaller one to the side.There are a number of glaze cracks to the sides and a couple of small firing cracks under the glaze to the shoulder. There are also some internal firing cracks, which are not noticeable on the exterior. The cobalt has run into the glaze in many areas, which has created a blurred effect to the design.
