the deep rounded sides rising from a straight foot, moulded to the exterior with undulating lotus scrolls above a keyfret band, the interior moulded with a chrysanthemum medallion to the centre, framed by carved lotus scrolls, covered overall in a sea-green glaze, the base with an unglazed ring fired to a buff-orange colour

Condition

This bowl is in good condition, but does have some minor glaze chips to the footrim. There is also some minor fritting/glaze inconsistencies to the rim and extensive scratches to the glaze of the interior and exterior. There are also some iron spots to the interior and exterior.
