- stoneware, textile box with bone clasp
the deep rounded sides rising from a straight foot to a flaring lobed rim, covered overall in a lustrous black glaze suffused with russet 'hare's fur' streaks
Condition
This jar is restored to each lobe of its flaring rim and to around a quarter of the foot rim. There is also a 6mm by 6mm glaze inconsistency/burst bubble to the side of the body.
