Description

  • porcelain
carved around the slightly waisted cylindrical body with leafy scrolling lotus, covered overall with a pale celadon glaze, the recessed base painted with an artemesia leaf in underglaze-blue

Condition

The brushpot is in god condition with the exception of some minor fritting to the rim and some minor glaze firing imperfections including two small blisters, iron-spots and tiny glaze holes.
