each of compressed baluster form and carved in relief, the first with a dragon amidst clouds on one side and a phoenix on the other, the second with prunus branches and an orchid, stoppers

Collection of Frank William Pierce (d. 1978), Surrey.
Condition
One with minute chips to the extremities of the relief decoration. The other with the red coral finial detached from the stopper. Both stones of a darker celadon tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
