well potted in the form of a section of bamboo, carved in varying relief with a single horse by a river bank beneath an overhanging willow tree, the base with a square seal in positive seal script reading Chen Guozhi zuo (Made by Chen Guozhi)

The brushpot is in very good condition, with the exception of very minute nibbling/chips and surface wear to the relief decoration. Minor glaze firing imperfections.
