Broadside manuscript on vellum (13 3/8 x 15 1/8 in.; 336 x 384 mm), written in a neat clerical hand, Philadelphia, 15 March 1788, countersigned by the Secretary of the Council ("Charles Biddle"), being a grant to William Anderson of a tract of 107 3/4 acres on Mingo Creek in Washington County called "The Garden," large embossed paper seal of Pennsylvania in upper left corner, several dockets on verso, including notary endorsements with embossed paper seals; a few light stains, soiled at edges and on verso. Matted, framed, and double-glazed.
