8vo (4 3/4 x 3 3/4 in.; 120 x 95 mm). Contemporary red morocco, elaborately gilt with floral borders, center panels lyre tools and gilt lozenges, edges gilt, gilt dentelles, gilt-stamped red silk liners; spine rubbed and worn, some wear to edges.

First edition. One of 100 copies privately printed of the author's first book. Presentation copy, inscribed by Tighe on the title-page in a minuscule hand, "To Caroline Hamilton, from her most affectionate and grateful M. Tighe. Sept. 7, 1895." A second edition of the book was produced in 1811.
