Catalogue Note

Snow had long been preoccupied with the search for Franklin, and participated in the voyage of the Prince Albert in 1851. The purpose of this tract was to gather support for a new expedition to be led by Snow himself. There is a printed list of subscribers at the end, with additional subscribers added in the author's hand on p.90.
