Catalogue Note

Although the verso of the title states “Reprinted November 1905”, this is the first edition published by Murray; the “First edition October 1905” refers to the Smith Elder publication. The bindings and dust-jackets are different from the Smith, Elder issue. THIS IS THE ONLY KNOWN COPY WITH THE DUST-JACKETS.
