Catalogue Note

The ill-treatment of Palmer and Skirving by the master of the Surprise, Captain Campbell, was reported to Lieutenant Governor Grose on their arrival at Sydney. The present account includes depositions of the ship's surgeon and members of the New South Wales Corps against Campbell.
